Life on the Road is a road-trip-driven travel song, a nomad anthem that leads the way to the band's new album.
"In this hectic world, when everyday life repeats itself and the walls start closing in, you dream of a different reality, an escape, even if only for a moment. Life on the Road is a reminder of dreams, a memory from the past, and the courage to chase your ambitions," says songwriter and singer Roope Hakkarainen.
Life on the Road sets the tone for the new album from Jonas and I.
The band's roots in folk and indie are still there, but now the scenery opens up, taking Jonas and I further into pop. Big drums and echoing horns, sensitive yet anthemic vocals, and cinematic synths guide you onto the unique journey of Life on the Road.

JONAS AND I released a new single Outrun, Undone worldwide on March 22nd 2024 on all streaming platforms via Humu Records.
The original demo of the song was recorded already in the early 2000s, long before the band was even formed. The forgotten demo was recently found from an old mp3 player by a lucky accident.Although the song was produced and re-recorded in these modern times, you can still hear the sound and styles of the new millennium: Powerful beats and guitars of the britpop, cinematic horns and synths with folky storytelling.On Outrun, Undone, the band travels back in their youth with a Jonas and I -style twist.

Folk Pop group JONAS AND I is nominated at the Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards. This year we will see 28 acts from 14 nations including Jonas and I from Finland. The event is held on October 3 through 6th 2024 in Marshall, Texas, USA.
